Villa del Arroyo

Villa del Arroyo is a stunning 240-space community situated along the verdant Simi Arroyo. The rolling hills and abundant arroyo attract an array of wildlife including birds, deer and even the occasional gray fox. Villa del Arroyo is conveniently located off the 118 freeway and Collins Drive in southeastern Ventura County. Within just a 5 mile radius of the park, residents have access to a Metrolink and Amtrak Stations, Moorpark College and Moorpark Plaza Shopping Center. The park offers a variety of amenities including a clubhouse, kitchen, TV room, billiards room, library, tennis and basketball courts, pool and spa, RV storage and a paved bike path running the length of the property. Our residents enjoy many regular activities and programs organized by the park and its resident committees including community gardening, annual summer barbecue and holiday parties. This well-manicured neighborhood provides Ventura County’s residents with affordable homeownership opportunities.

    If you or a resident family member is currently attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university or vocational school, we encourage you to apply for the Augusta Higher Education Scholarship!

    There are many reasons to pursue higher education - whether it be wanting to challenge and grow yourself intellectually, developing a financially secure life for you and your family, or improving your career options. College graduates also become role models for their friends and family who may be inspired to follow the graduate's example. Augusta Communities is eager to help residents reap the benefits of higher education through our scholarship programs.

    Application requirements:

    - All applicants must be registered park residents

    - Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

    - Must be enrolled full-time to an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school accredited by an organization approved by the United States Secretary of Education

    - Must submit a resume (a list of your accomplishments, skills, and background) and unofficial transcript

    - Applicant's household must have a current Income Certification on file with the park office

    - Repeat recipients may only receive scholarship funds for a maximum of four (4) years or be awarded a total of $4000, whichever comes first

    - Priority will be given based on the quality of the application and the ability to meet the application due date
